About / Universal Healthcare Logistics

We started because
someone missed their appointment.

Not a dramatic story. A common one. And it is the reason this company measures itself by whether you got there — not by whether a van showed up.

Our Story

Transportation is the gap
in Miami healthcare.

A patient can have the right doctor, the right treatment plan and the right insurance, and still lose all of it to one missing piece: a way to get there. Dialysis three times a week. Physical therapy twice. An oncology appointment that took two months to schedule.

Universal Healthcare Logistics exists to close that gap. We are a Miami-based non-emergency medical transportation provider serving Miami-Dade and Broward County — ambulatory, wheelchair and stretcher transport for people who need more than a rideshare and less than an ambulance.

Our whole operating principle is simple: the ride is not the service. Arriving is the service. That is why our drivers come to your door instead of your curb, why we hold recurring appointments on our own schedule, and why the person who books the trip gets a confirmation in writing.

What We Stand For

Four commitments,
applied to every single trip.

Dignity

Nobody gets talked over, rushed or handled. We move at the speed of the passenger, not the schedule.

Punctuality

We build the pickup window backwards from your appointment time, with traffic already accounted for. Early is the plan.

Safety

Background-checked drivers, passenger-assistance certification, four-point wheelchair securement and a vehicle sanitized between every passenger.

Clarity

The price before the trip. The confirmation in writing. The driver briefed on what you need before they knock.

Safety First

The standards behind
every vehicle and driver.

Non-emergency does not mean informal. Here is what is checked, certified and repeated on every trip.

  • Background screening before a driver's first trip — no exceptions.
  • Passenger assistance certification covering mobility support, transfers and fall prevention.
  • ADA-compliant lift equipment inspected on a maintenance schedule.
  • Four-point securement to DOT standard on every wheelchair trip.
  • Sanitation between passengers — surfaces, handles, securement points.
  • Licensed and insured commercial operation, documentation on request.

Our People

The driver is the company.

Everything else — the vans, the scheduling, the phone line — exists to put the right person at your door. Our drivers are hired for temperament first and trained for technique second, because you cannot teach someone to be patient with a frightened passenger at 6 a.m.

They are briefed before every trip on what you need: whether you use a walker, whether there are three steps at the front door, whether your daughter needs a call after the drop-off. That briefing is why the ride feels different.

Our Team

The people behind every ride.

Coordinators, dispatchers and drivers who know the routes, the hospitals and the passengers by name.
