The questions
everybody asks.

Cost, coverage, lead time and what actually happens on the day. If your question is not here, call (305) 564-2941.

Non-emergency medical transportation is scheduled, assisted transport for people who need more help than a taxi or rideshare can provide, but who are not experiencing a medical emergency. It covers ambulatory passengers who need a steady arm, wheelchair users who need a lift-equipped vehicle, and patients who must travel lying down on a stretcher.

It is not an ambulance service. We do not provide emergency response or medical treatment during the trip. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.

As early as you comfortably can. As a rough guide:

Ambulatory trips — 24 hours is comfortable, same-day is often possible.
Wheelchair trips — 24 to 48 hours, because lift-equipped vehicles are finite.
Stretcher trips — 48 hours where possible, since they require a two-person crew.

Recurring treatment schedules such as dialysis should be set up once as a standing appointment. After that you never rebook them.

Often, yes — but we will not promise it before checking. Same-day availability depends on the vehicle type you need and how the day is already booked. Call (305) 564-2941 and we will tell you honestly within a minute whether we can take the trip.

Rates depend on three things: your mobility level (ambulatory, wheelchair or stretcher), the distance, and the time of day. We quote the exact price when you book — in writing, before the day of travel.

There are no hidden fees. Door-to-door assistance, lift use, securement and reasonable wait time when your appointment runs long are part of the service, not add-ons.

Many health plans include a non-emergency medical transportation benefit, and coverage rules differ significantly between plans. Some plans route NEMT through a specific broker; others reimburse directly.

Call us with your plan details and we will tell you plainly what we can bill and what we cannot — including when private pay will be faster or simpler for you. We would rather give you an accurate answer than an optimistic one.

To the door — and through it. Our drivers come to where you are, assist you to the vehicle, and walk you inside at the destination until you are checked in.

Curb-to-curb service is common in this industry and it is the single biggest complaint we hear about other providers. It is not how we operate.

Yes. A spouse, adult child, caregiver or interpreter is welcome in the companion seat at no extra charge. Please mention it when booking so we assign a vehicle with the seating available.

Manual chairs, power chairs, scooters and bariatric chairs. Our vans use hydraulic lifts, so you board in your own chair — there is no transferring and no lifting.

Every wheelchair is secured with a four-point tie-down to DOT standard, and you are fitted with a separate lap and shoulder restraint. When booking, tell us the type and approximate weight of the chair so the right vehicle is assigned.

Yes. Portable oxygen travels with you and is secured for the trip. Tell us your flow requirements when booking so the vehicle is set up correctly before the driver arrives.

Yes, and this is one of the things we do best. Dialysis, infusion, chemotherapy, physical therapy and wound care all run on recurring schedules, and we hold those slots as standing appointments in our system.

You book the schedule once. We keep the times. You do not call every week.

Appointments run long. It is normal and we plan for it. Call us when you are ready and we adjust the pickup — reasonable wait time is part of the service, not a surcharge.

All of Miami-Dade County and all of Broward County — from Aventura down to Florida City, and north through Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood and Pembroke Pines. Cross-county trips between the two are routine.

We also handle long-distance non-emergency transport and facility-to-facility transfers statewide. See the Service Areas page for the full list.

Hablamos Español. Ask when you book and we will assign a Spanish-speaking driver wherever availability allows. Our office takes calls in both English and Spanish.

Every driver clears a background check before their first trip and is certified in passenger assistance — mobility support, safe transfers and fall prevention.

We hire for temperament first. Technique can be taught; patience with a frightened passenger at six in the morning cannot.

Every vehicle is sanitized between passengers — surfaces, handles, seat belts and wheelchair securement points. Not at the end of the shift. Between passengers.

Yes, and a large share of our bookings work exactly this way. You can arrange, confirm and pay for the trip from anywhere. Tell us what your parent needs and we brief the driver before arrival.

If you would like a call after the drop-off, ask and we will make it.

Tell us as soon as you know. Advance notice means the slot goes to someone else who needs it, and there is no penalty for a genuine change of plan.

Yes. We work with discharge coordinators, dialysis centers, rehabilitation facilities and assisted living communities that book regularly. Call (305) 564-2941 or use the contact form and ask about a facility account.
